How can I rescan my decoder to get new channels?
Rescanning your decoder is as easy as ABC! Simply follow the instructions below.
If your decoder is branded HiTv
- On your remote control, press MENU
- Select INSTALLATION, then press OK
- Enter the pin code 0000, press OK
- Scroll to TP setup, press OK
- After this, scroll to search/select all channels, press OK
- Wait for scanning to complete, then press OK
- Finally, press the EXIT botton on your remote control three times
If your decoder is branded STRONG, not HiTV, follow this simple process:
- Point your HITV remote control to your decoder, then press MENU
- Select INSTALLATION, press OK
- Enter the pin code…..0000, press OK
- Scroll to AUTOSCAN then press OK
- Select HITV TRANSPONDER, press OK
- On the dialogue box select OK TO SCAN
- After scanning, press EXIT three times on your remote control
What packages does HiTv have and how much do they cost?

Can I subscribe to your TV package if I’m resident outside Lagos?
Our service is now available all over Nigeria. The Cable package is available in Lagos only while the Satellite package is available nationwide.
How can I be one of your agents?
To be one of our dealers, you may visit our office to discuss further and collect the forms or email info@hitv.com.ng.
How do I get hitv installed and what is your monthly subscription?
You can purchase the system directly from our office or visit/call any of our accredited dealers. We have over 150 dealers spread across the whole country. Please check our list of dealers to know which one is closest to you.
The System costs N9, 999 (this includes the dish, decoder, smartcard without installation and installation materials) while the monthly subscription is just N4, 000.
I’m having poor reception (no or bad signal) in my area, how do I get it rectified?
Please call customer care on 8998844 and 8990003-4 for quick resolution. If you have the numbers of the dealer that installed your equipment, you could also call him for a visit to rectify the problem.
Is subscription free at the moment? When do we start paying?
Unfortunately no, subscription is not free, you have to start paying from the day of installation of the system.
Does your service include two live matches at the same time?
We transmit more than two live matches at the same time as we have the license to broadcast matches from the EPL, La Liga and Serie A. These matches currently show on Hi Soccer, Hi Sports and Hi Sports2.
Can we have the programme schedule for soccer for 2007/2008 season?
The programme schedule for the matches to be played on our channels will are available on this site. You can check our League Fixtures page from time to time for updated schedules.
What are the methods of payment for your subscription?
Currently, you can pay your subscription in three ways. You could make your subscription payments at our office at 10, Ondo Street West, off Apapa Road, Ebute Metta, or to any branch of GT Bank, or with HiTv recharge cards available from our dealers and/or our office.
How long after payment does one get connected?
Your services are activated immediately your payments are made. If however it is a new installation, please give 48 hours for the installation to be done after which the card is activated
